To make this embroidery I was inspired by a still life from Willem Van Aelst, a XVIIth century painter.

This embroidery was thought to be light, floating. It is made up of aged fabric with paper inscrustations and ribbon, raffia, cotton threads and mettalic threads embroidery. Also, some machine sewing has been made to evokate a pencil draft effect.
