This necklace was embroidered with Lunéville crochet techniques. It is agremented with glass beads, fine copper thread, nylon thread, and a Hand dyed cotton Penelope's feather. It is mounted on a coppered brass chain.
There is a 5 cm margin to adjust it better to your neckline.

Production
It takes eight different steps to make an iridescent peak feather. To create the perfect pair of earrings, I need to repeat each step twice identically for the two earrings to look alike... Those feathers are made up of cords and fabric scraps which I unweave by hand, thread by thread, just like Penelope waiting for Ulysses. I ivented this technique myself. It took me hours to research and make tests in order to perfect the process. It allows me to revalue all kinds of fabrics. The feather is hardened with a water-based textile hardener.
Maintenance
Do not submerge. If stained, carefully clean with a moist cotton bud or a soft brush along with the threads. If necessary re-comb the threads softly. My creations are made to last long, so if you think your jewel might need some refreshment, do not hesitate to contact me ! You can send it back and I will freshen it up for you !
